Lead Kindergarten Teacher
As our beloved Mrs. Rose Wessel prepares to retire from teaching, Tamarack is seeking a full-time, Lead Kindergarten Teacher for the 2012-2013 school year. The qualified candidate must have a B.A. and must have completed or be making progress on AWSNA-affiliated Waldorf Kindergarten/Early Childhood training. This faculty position involves collaboration with kindergarten and grades faculty, committee work, and some classroom administration and staff supervision skills. Love and patience for the young child is a must. Tamarack offers competitive wages and benefits.
Tamarack Waldorf School offers a complete Waldorf curriculum for students from pre-school and kindergarten through eighth grade. Part-Time Development Assistant Needed
Tamarack is in need of an organized, enthusiastic, data-savvy person, ideally with development experience, to help the Tamarack Waldorf School Board of Trustees in its development efforts this school year. The person who fills this position is ready for a combination of service oriented interactions and detailed tasks in a busy office environment. This position involves up to 20 flexible hours of work per week, from February through June 30, with potential for renewal. Tasks include: working with the board to identify and cultivate potential donors, creating spreadsheets to monitor development contacts, communicating with individual board members, attending Development Team meetings, making a record of meetings and communicating next steps, promoting Tamarack Waldorf School in the community, and supporting the administrator and board president. Requirements include being detail-oriented, comfortable in a team environment, computer skills, personable, and a college degree.
